IDY launches the iG350B LTE Cat.1 bis micro gateway

IDY has developed the Wireless IoM iG350B micro gateway with LTE Cat.1 bis, dual-band Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 and GNSS. Sales begin in October 2025.

Background

As 3G services are retired worldwide, industrial equipment and IoT systems need a practical migration path. Cat.1 bis uses existing LTE networks while supporting a broader range of data applications than LPWA, with a compact and cost-conscious architecture.

• Two UART ports, two analog inputs, one DIO and one USB 2.0 Device port
• 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.3 and GNSS
• External-battery operation with intermittent low-power operation
• Custom software, PCBA supply and dedicated enclosure development

Applications

Target applications include fleet and location tracking, sensor monitoring in factories and plants, remote maintenance, infrastructure monitoring and environmental measurement.
